This is fascinating work. Doesn't the creation of such a generic transformation/conversion tool lend itself to a DSL (domain-specific language) such as what might be produced using Ruby? If so, do you know of anyone working toward these aims?



I might be willing to tackle a next-step approach to this, but I may need some early hand holding.
